Do They Really Think This Trash Sells in KY?

Question: Do Democrats really think the Vulgar Vanguard over at Ditch Mitch will help them unseat Senator McConnell? As a McConnell supporter, I must say that I almost like what these guys are doing. After all, they’re showing the world what a bunch of kooks the opposition is made of here in KY. On the other hand, as someone who cares about the state of political discourse in America and wants to see us have a real debate on the issues, I can’t help but be disgusted by these nut jobs.

Consider some of the latest:

Joe Sonka at Ditch Mitch wrote yesterday that "Mitch bitches... about KY's liberal blogosphere kicking his a%$… poor little Mitchy. He of the… black tie dinners fit for a queen.”

Zonkers continues: “Oh, have some dignity you big f&*%ing baby! This is the second time Mitch has acted like a drama queen in distress in his fundraising letters. Earlier this summer, he whined about how Team Ditch Mitch was holding him accountable for his bull$&^%.”

Did Sonka really say “have some dignity”?? Did he really call someone else “a baby”??? It’s pretty clear who the Drama Queen is here.

Meanwhile, take a look at these crazies from the Abbie Hoffman wing of the Democrat party, as they protest a Halloween party. Before all’s said and done watch for one of these loons like Sonka or Pence to YouTube a 21st century update to Hoffman’s seminal work "FU$% the System":

I was at this little gathering outside the Henry Clay and if it weren't sad, it would be funny.

Many of the protesters are nearly delusional. They refuse to accept anything other than what they want to be true. Maybe their cause is not absurd, but their tactics and certainly many of their beliefs are.

The Frederick Law Olmsted Conservancy works in the conservation business. I'll take their opinion on conservation over the radical beliefs of fools who have watched Al Gore's fictional movie "An Inconvenient Truth" one too many times.

Don't worry, I'm not going to go postal or anything. But I do think it's newsworthy to point out their stupidity. I agree that they're not likely to lay a glove on McConnell next year.

I'll bet you this: those blogs and protests will find their way into ads run against whatever liberal tries to beat the Senator.

McConnell's opponents have been trying to sell the "Mitch is Gay" angle since he ran against and beat Dee Huddleston 23 years ago. It has never worked and it won't work this time, because everyone recognizes it for the slur and slander it is.
